1987 Chevrolet El Camino SS Choo Choo Customs Conversion ZZ4 350

I am helping an 80 year young car collector sell his collection, his truck was purchased this way in 2013. This one is a 1987 Chevrolet El Camino SS, hoo Choo Customs Conversion. Choo Choo Customs was a vehicle customization/conversion company based out of Chattanooga, N; they were hired by GM to do this custom conversion. While GM or Choo Choo Customs made no mechanical changes to the conversion, he owner of this car did not hold back. This one packs a punch with a ZZ4 crate motor, acked by a Coan Transmission TH700R4, street performance heavy duty transmission with a Coan 12" lock up convertor. The ZZ4 350 crate engine is Chevrolet Performance's original crate engine. High-flow aluminum heads are the keys to the ZZ4's robust 355 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque. They boast 163-cc intake runners, aised exhaust ports, nd tight, 8-cc combustion chambers that enhance compression and power. The heads feature 1.94/1.50-inch valves for efficient performance. The rest of the ZZ4 350 is comprised of premium materials including a brand-new four-bolt block, orged steel crankshaft, igh-silicon pistons, nd a hydraulic roller camshaft. It also includes an aluminum intake, olley four-barrel carburetor, nd HEI distributor, s well as a starter, ater pump, uel pump, nd front-end accessory drive kit. The buildup was done in September 2004 with all the right parts. The miles on the odometer are the miles since the engine and transmission were put in the car. The car starts and runs great, hifts firm, as plenty of power. All steering and suspension feel to be in good shape, he car drives and tracks straight. Brakes are factory power disc front and drum rear; brakes feel normal and stop the car without issue. The body is overall very good condition with some cracking in the front paint, ome spots that are not perfect, ome spots have been repainted professionally. The bed is very good overall, ut has one scratch and one spot of surface rust. I tried my best to show in the pictures. The interior is very good original condition, ith an aftermarket B&M shifter. All major electrical functions as it should. The car is equipped with A/C, ompressor turns, ut does not cool, ost likely low on refrigerant, ower windows, nd power locks function as they should. Wheels and tires are in good condition with good tread. Along with all of the good that this car has to offer, here is some bad, he car is going to need floor pans repairs.
