Car description

350 V8 5.7L with 4 bbl carb and 4 speed manual transmission on the floor (1st gear is granny low gear), ong bed. This is my dad's 1969 K-10 pickup (4wd version of the C10). He has finally decided to part with it. My dad has owned it 17 years and hasn't driven it in 5 or 6 years. I have completed all the needed maintenance to make it road worthy again. I think the truck is almost all original, xcept the seat has been re-upholstered, he radio is aftermarket (but the dash was not cut, nd the original radio is included), nd the rear bumper is not original (a friend gave the bumper to my dad about 15 years ago, he bumper was dented before it was put on this truck). It has dual exhaust, hich I think was original, ut it exits in front of the rear wheels, hich I don't think would have been original. It has mufflers though, o it isn't loud at all. No power steering, o power brakes. Apparently these were not even options on the 4wd version for 1969. This was a plain simple model with no frills, xcept the V8 and the 4WD. Original wood bed, ut needs refinished. Has all the original badging on fenders. Recent work and parts: -All new brakes including master cylinder, ll new wheel cylinders, ll new brake shoes, ll new drums, nd new hardware for front brakes. Brakes completely drained and bled with new fluid. Brakes work just as good as new including e-brake. -3 year old battery, new (-) cable, new (+) terminal -Used but fairly new fuel tank and pickup installed, new rubber fuel line sections, new in-line fuel filter, new in-carb fuel filter. Existing fuel pump tested good. -Oil change with new filter, il pump primed, new valve cover gaskets, gnition timing set. -Rear differential fluid change, ransmission fluid change -New radiator hoses, new heater hoses, ntifreeze change. Cooling system works great. -Air filter checked -Tire pressure checked, ires still have 80% tread, o dry-rot, ut are over 15 years old. -Fan belt checked -New vacuum line -New rear u-joint straps -New Goodyear wiper blades Extra parts included, ut not installed: -Original radio -Replacement grille (existing grille has minor dent around driver headlight) -Partial components to add air conditioning (evaporator and housing) -Extra tail light -Extra headlight ring -Original canister oil filter parts -Extra heater controls (much better shape) -Extra horn? -Extra part of the wiring harness? -4 original hubcaps (probably came from a 2wd as they only fit the rear wheels due to the 4wd hubs) -Brand new spark plug wire set -Brand new rebuild kit for the 4 bbl carb -Brand new intake manifold gasket set -Extra factory dash speaker?-Brand new steering knuckle seals (current ones leak)What it may need (this is not a definitive list, ut what I am aware of):-Steering knuckle seals replaced (included) along with 140W oil change in knuckles-Rear diff leaks at pinion seal when parked downhill (may have been overfilled a bit since I filled it facing uphill)-Wheel bearings have not been inspected. No noise or vibration, ut they would be worth taking out and re-packing with grease.-Full grease job; I have greased a few points, ut all the points should be greased well-Fluid change for front diff. It is full, ut I haven't gotten around to changing it. It isn't a problem in 2wd with the hubs unlocked.-Steering box fluid change hasn't been done, nd should be done eventually as well.-Windshield cracked on passenger side, ompletely out of drivers vision, ut it still should be replaced at some point.-Other aesthetic issues such as cracked dash and cracked steering wheel, tc. -Tires do not have any visible dry rot, nd still have 80% tread or so, ut have been on the truck since my dad purchased it, nd should be considered for replacement. Manuals - I have a printed copy of the original factory service manual, digital copy on CD of the original service manual, nd a Haynes manual. They all go with the truck. Runs and drives like a champ. Everything on the truck seems to work without issue, xcept for the fuel gauge only works intermittently. I found some records for it in the glove box from the previous owner. I think it has seen less than 8,000 miles in over 20 years and shows just shy of 43,000 miles on the odometer. It isn't clear if the 43,000 on the odometer is the original miles or not. Receipts will be provided for the recent parts installed. This truck has been unmolested, s fully drivable as it currently sits, nd is a great candidate for a restoration.TERMS:-Final payment due in full in CASH prior to releasing truck, eys or title.-Truck is sold AS-IS and WHERE-IS.
