1960 Cadillac 2 Door Coupe

Great driver with 80-90% restoration complete. New floors, trunk pan, and lower metal replaced with metal and new base/clear merlot metallic paint. 5 coats of base and 4 of clear. Headliner just installed today, napped cotton looks awesome. Carpet and brand new door sills here but still being installed. Original 390 coupe drivetrain with 114k never apart. New valve cover, and trans pan gaskets, new u-joints and center bearing on driveshaft, new brake lines and dual master cyl, all 4 corners of brakes, gas tank and line, pertronix ignition and plug wires, rechromed rear bumper ($1200), and new Coker whitewalls ($1000). Front windshield brand new ($500) with new gasket, also rear window gasket replaced after paint. Completely rewired front to back with new ATO fused harness. Rebuilt steering pump and generator. New shocks. Dashboard disassembled, cleaned, and tested. Gas sending unit not right, always reads full. Original dash is cracked, heater fan and heat working, core not leaking, but cables frozen. Original radio included but was going to put in a Retrosound. New speakers installed in package tray and dash. Hubcaps are 59 cause I like them better. New trunk and door weatherstripping in. Have both fender skirts.Needs - roof rail weatherstrip, a leaky freeze plug just over the starter (easy one to replace), trunk boards/vinyl, kick panels, & antenna.Hobbyist restoration that gets a TON of attention. Every piece of trim is there including the hard to find rear quarters. Not a perfect car but all the hard work is done. Put the original interior back in or re-do it as you drive. Back seat foam is a little brittle. I’ve driven it about 200 miles since doing all work but time to go. Need a new daily driver. Finish it as you like or drop a 500ci eldo motor and air ride in it!
