Car description

Selling at no reserve. This auction is for a 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 4 Door Sedan. 429 V-8, Automatic Trans, PS,PB, Power Windows, Power Seat and Deep Tinted Glass. This was the top of the line Cadillac in 66. We purchased the car Approximately7 years ago to use it to restore a convertible we had. The convertible ended up selling the way it was so we just put the Sedan in storage. Had it sitting around long enough so it is time to let it go. Mechanically the car runs great. Transmission shifts fine. Brakes are down. We put fluid in the master cylinder and had the brakes working for a few minuets, then the fluid started leaking out. So if you purchase tell your shipper no brakes. The car is fairly solid for the year. Good frame and floors, etc. Some rust bubbling on far lower rear quarters, some on the trunk lid and a few minor rust cracks on the edge of the trunk pan closest to the bumper. The car is in various stages of primer. Roof had a vinyl top that was removed and is in primer also. We have all the moldings that go around the roof, the other wheel house molding for the drivers front fender and various other small parts. Missing the driver side rocker molding and the Cadillac ornament for the hood. Interior is in fair shape. Carpets are showing their age and there are a few cracks on the dash pad. The starter does drag some so we prime it while turning so as to start easy. A little time and elbow grease and it wouldn't take much to get it back on the road. Would make a cool rat rod or the car is definitelya treasure trove of parts. Its getting harder to find original running gears that are good and also has a decent nose, grill, bumpers, etc. I am starting the car cheap as to give everybody a chance from all budgets. Just be serious in your bidding as the high bidder will own the car. If you have less than (25) feedback please contact us before you place a bid. We just want to make sure your intentions are true. If you need a title in your state we will register the car and with that and our proper dealer transfer paperwork you will receivea title. It is $200 additional for this service should you need it. If you need more pics or info feel free to email or call us at 1-207-324-5568 Days or 1-207-432-2862 Eves and Sundays. We require a $500 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auctions end and balance due within 3 days there after. If you need time to get the car shipped we will store it at no charge for a reasonable time but want the car paid for as description says.
