Description

Here it is! This is the rare opportunity that does not come up very often. The Cadillac of all Cadillacs, the book end to any collection of exquisite '80's cars! May I present to you the Cimarron, by Cadillac. This wonderful little sedan has spent its whole life in Ft. Myers Florida, being sold by Val Ward Cadillac. To add a little more "Cadillac flair" in 1986, ASC offered an aftermarket 1/4 vinyl top treatment for this car, and obviously being sold in Florida new, that was taken advantage off and added to this car. The Classic White over Silver two tone comes together with the Burgundy top. The interior is Red leather with cloth inserts. Alloy wheels, fog lights, and a luggage rack add to that classic yet sporty Cadillac look. Inside is packed with dual power seats, Symphony sound, digital gauges, cruise control, leather wrapped wheel and so much more. This peppy little Cadillac packs a punch with its 2.8 liter V6. Classic 1980's GM style at its finest! This Cadillac runs out and drives great! I took a road trip in it and drove it about 500 miles, its performed great!

Condition

The overall condition of this 33 year old Cadillac is good! The body shows well with only a few imperfections. Some of the silver cladding on the lower panels has started to chip and flake off in certain spots. There is a indent on the left front fender wheel opening, along with a scuff on the right front bumper cap. The power antenna needs to be rebuilt, a new mast would fix it! Both rear bumper caps are gone and need to be replaced. I do have one cap I got at a salvage yard, that is usable and will be included. The only spot on the body that is not original paint. is on the top of the left quarter. It looks like when the top was installed they may have made a mistake and damaged the quarter. The repair is starting to come though. and the paint is cracking/crazing. This was blended in just above the stripe. The interior is clean and shows well. There is some dry spots in the leather, but otherwise very presentable! Both front sunvisors will not stay up by themselves, and are propped up. Mechanically the car starts right up and runs great. Before I drove it I replaced the master brake cylinder, along with all 4 tires. The front struts are a little noisy over some bumps, and it seems to have a minor oil leak from the valve cover gasket(s). I could not get the climate control to work, the blower will blow but the temperature does not come out as desired. This car is being sold TMU (True Mileage Unknown) The cluster shows all zeros for mileage. Since the car was from Florida I have no records of annual mileage since there are no inspections. The cluster would need to be repaired, or just enjoy it as it is, all the other reading work including the speedometer. I bought this car to be a fun conversation piece to have around. I have had some fun with it and now I am ready to re-home it. I do have available to the buyer 2 NOS E&G Classics grills, one gold and one chrome, along with a set of NOS in the box Dayton Wire Wheels, made only for these and other FWD J body cars. Those can be discussed for the buyer, but are not included with the sale of the car. Please take a look at the dozens of detailed photos below. Also take a look at the 10 minute YouTube video, a very in depth walk around and road test of this car. The link to that is just above the photos below. Thank you for looking!

About Me

Thank you for taking the time to look at my listing. My love for classic full sized luxury cars, and low mileage survivor examples has taken my dealings from a hobby of cars to a 5200sq ft indoor facility that has become a business of love. Please take a look at my website, and check out some cool rides I have or had at one point. I do this with my retired father, another "car guy"! My wife and newly adopted baby girl are my drive to be the best I can be!
