Car description

It is with some regret that I place my 1976 Miller Meteor Cadillac "Citation" Hearse up for sale. It is in exceptional condition and has been maintained very well. The owner from whom I received the car had it for 19 years and is a very meticulous funeral home director in North Carolina. He has numerous other vintage hearses, limos, etc and all were kept in a large 10 car garage under the funeral home (walk out basement/garage.) It was owned by two other funeral homes prior to that in Alabama.
The "distinct" blue interior is pure 1976 and is original as it came from the Miller Meteor factory. Being the Citation model, it has the double stainless steel trim work and has the vinyl top from the front of the casket area to the back, smooth paint over drivers area. Unique and rare to find one in this condition. New Hankook tires, 235/75/R15's. NO RUST NO RUST NO RUST!!!
The car has had an engine transplant and has a great running 500 V8 4 BBL. Yes, I did flip the air cleaner lid over (see in pics) and yes, you can hear it for miles when the 4BBL kicks in. Flip air cleaner over and it sounds normal again. I have driven this in a funeral procession for a gentleman who was a lifetime mechanic and the family appreciated having a vintage hearse.
A/C is present but is squealing badly. Most likely needs a new compressor. Will not blow cold. Doors shut solidly and front power windows work (rear windows are stationary.) No rips or tears in the seats and the casket area, as well as all of the car, is in exceptional condition. No cracks in any glass. I would be proud to take this to any professional car show.
I can ship this within a 500 mile area from Louisville, KY for $1.50/loaded mile. Any further and we'll need to talk first. I am not a professional shipper nor a dealer, I just have a bad habit of buying unique cars ;) and I have the trailers to transport them.
Deposit via paypal is due within 24 hours of purchase and full payment within 3 days. If you'd like to talk or do a facetime walk around for iPhone users, give me a call at 270 872 7507. I am on Eastern time.
