Car description

Please note, the deposit is non-refundable1987 Buick Grand National 3.8 V6 Intercooled TurboWell, it's time to sell my Grand National, I love this car but my wife and I recently had a baby and this car became a luxury. Purchased in 2003, I believe I'm it's third owner. The previous owner had a great deal of work done. •Champion aluminum cylinder heads,•Double roller rocker arm•timing chain•Performance underdrive pulley•Aftermarket turbo,•3 inch down pipe, high flow headers and cross-over pipe, K&N air filter•High flow oil pump, fuel pump and fuel injectors 40pph, •Adjustable fuel regulator,•Tommy rear end,•Aftermarket cam•Large throttle body, •Oversized plenum 62mm,•Computer chip •Modified high-flow intercooler,This is what I've had done: In 2003 I had the engine rebuilt, thereafter, the transmission by Art Carr of California Transmissions. Also, I rebuilt the power steering and installed a new AC compressor, Borla mufflers and Eibach springs. Moreover, I've preplaced the bushings to the front lower and upper control arms and upgraded the front anti sway bar to 1-inch diameter. The car is primed in grey with black trim by WASP Automotive out of Hesperia, CA. The owner is a childhood friend of mine and suggested the color scheme. I know anything other the black in blasphemy, but I think it looks pretty mean. As far as the interior is concerned, I installed Carbon Fiber Autometer gauges (boost, water temperature, oil pressure). The previous owner installed a custom leather headliner along with black and tan leather seats and door panels. Additionally, the following is a list of items I've replaced in the recent months: •Thermostat •Thermostat housing •Starter •Battery •Alternator •Fuel pump •Doors and trunk weather stripping •Trunk carpet (uninstalled) •Heater core •Catalytic Converter •Tires The car is great fun and always gets the attention of car enthusiasts, you're sure to have plenty of conversations while pumping gas or just driving around town. I haven't really driven it the past few years, however, I recently took it out for a test drive and got stopped three times by people asking if it was a "real" Grand National, followed by "don't get rid of it!" It's about more than the car, it's the enthusiasts' community that really makes this car fun to own. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.
