Car description

PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle is NOT a T-Type or Regal clone. This is a true and authentic 1987 Buick Grand National 3.8L V6 Turbo. This GN is painted in semi-flat black or, "murdered out," and is "stanced" (not to be confused with "dropped”). The body is in great shape...No dings, dents, or cancer of any kind. All interior plastic is where it should be and is in great shape! There are no rips or tears in the front bucket or rear bench seats, or in the interior cloth, headliner, and carpet. In all honesty, I would describe the interior as being in excellent to near-factory condition. Both the chassis and trunk are rust-free, and the body mounts are solid. Right now, she is tuned to 19lbs of boost (93 Octane). She has never sat for a Dyno Test, nor has she taken a trip down the track, but my guess is she would run about 13 flat in a quarter mile. The original numbers on the car, engine, and transmission all match. She also possesses legitimate WE2 Grand National Appearance Package Codes (a simple Google search will define exactly what this means). At this time, the only thing this car will eventually need is a brand-new passenger side front tire. Simply put, the one currently on (BFGoodrich P225/60R15 Radial TA) is old with signs of wear, and there is a noticeable, "pull," to the right while driving it. That is literally all she needs!

Some specific standard equipment and options include:

Cruise Control;

Tilt Wheel;

Power Seats;

Power Windows;

T-Tops (no leaks - gaskets recently replaced and an extra set is included);

Heat & A/C (will need to be charged if you so desire) and;

Factory In-Dash Tach & Boost Gauges (both of which work!).

Some specific aftermarket equipment include:

Fiberglass bumpers and trunk lid;

IMCA Circle Track Low Inertia wheels;

RJC Power Plate;

42lb injectors;

TurboTweak 93 Street Chip;

LT1 MAF and translator;

Tial QR Blow-Off (loud but not obnoxious like a ricer!);

Cold Air Ram (intake from driver side headlight);

RJC Manual Boost Controller;

Walbro 340 (in-tank);

Hotwire Fuel Pump;

ScanMaster 2.1 and;

Custom Dual Side Exit Exhaust.

Custom installs and modifications Include:

AutoMeter Gauges (6 total): Air/Fuel Ratio, Boost, Oil Pressure (housed in a three gauge, driver side pillar pod painted exactly to match gray interior color), Water Temp, Transmission Temp, Differential Temp (housed in a custom fiberglass gauge panel inlaid above passenger side glove box, and angled towards driver, painted gloss black);

Hotchkis Springs (front and rear - lowered 1in from factory ride height);

Bilstein Shocks (front and rear)

Energy Suspension Coil Spring Isolators (rear) and Bump Stops (front);

Hotchkis Extreme Sway Bar Set;

MOOG Inner and Outer Tie Rods and Center Link;

Hotchkis Tie Rod Sleeves;

New black satin powder-coated Differential Cover;

Bluetooth Stereo Head Unit (car and trunk are professionally wired and set up for the addition of an amplifier and subwoofers - just plug and play!);

Front and Rear Strobe Lighting Effects (head and taillight housings contain white strobe bulbs and front grill contains red, white and blue bulbs - Controllers for both sets of lights located underneath dash panel, and each set is independently controlled).

This Grand National is literally turn-key, and I would absolutely have no reservations taking her on a cross-country trip! However, due to a growing family and practicality reasons, the time has come to let her go. There is a reserve price on this car, and the buyer will assume all logistics including pickup/transportation and all associated fees. Payment is to be made via PayPal only, as I will not accept any other form. I encourage any serious and motivated buyers to contact me for more information and/or photos. I will be happy to provide them. Thank you for taking a peek at this beautiful car, and literally a piece of history, and good luck!
