Car description

You will NOT find another 65 Buick built like this for sale! YOU TUBE video is under T.Cat ( 1965 Skylark 462 4 speed Monster). Up for auction is my Super CLEAN Street Bruiser 1965 BUICK SKYLARK. This car has a list of Brand New things a mile long. Ive got ALOT of receipts to go with it. It only has 1758 miles on the whole build when the car was finished. The engine started off as a 1970 Stage 1 455 big block and got punched out to a 462 cubic inch 11.5 : 1 compression streetable Monster with a new hardened crank and all new goodies... Estimated to be around 500-525 hp. Ported heads, 5 angle valve job, 2.25 stainless valves, TA Roller Rockers ($850 alone), ARP studs, Wiseco pistons, Clevite bearings, Stainless hardware, Billet Pulleys, MSD ignition, Taylor 409 race wires, Edelbrock intake, Holley 750 Double Pumper, and SOOO much more to make all that AWESOMENESS work! The motor pulls very hard on the low end and has ungodly torque! It is backed by a Fully Rebuilt Super T-10 transmission with Brand New Billet flywheel and Centerforce clutch kit. The rear is a specifically Special Ordered 9" inch that was built by Quick Performance INC in Ames, IA with 3.89 gears and a 31 spline Trac-Lock Posi unit (cost $2000). Brand New 3 core aluminum radiator that keeps the big block running around 170-195 on average. No overheating issues at all. The car has Hooker Super Comp Headers and a full 3" inch exhaust dumping out right before the rear to give it that Ground Pounding big block sound. The hood has a 2.5" cowl induction and it is steel not fiberglass. Inside the interior is all Brand New. Tinted windows, 66 GTO bucket seats were redone, Full cluster of Auto Meter Liquid Filled gauges, new door sill plates, carpet, and much moreto make the whole inside just look absolutely fantastic. The car has Disc Brakes on the front, drum rear, which are all new along with Hotchkis front and rear sway bars and custom built and balanced driveshaft. New aluminum 15" wheels with Brand new Cooper tires balanced all the way around with only 1758 miles on them. I know there is alot more that i am missing but i only have so much room to type. I am located in Central VA and you are free to come see the car and go for a testride in person with me most anytime. I am going to state now that it would take over $35,000 to build this car at any shop nowadays. You CANNOT build this car for what i am selling it for. Body and paint is $10,000 or more and an average motor build is over $6000. So please understand that ALOT more than that has been invested in the car and i have a pile of receipts to prove it. EVERYTHING is DONE on the car. Just turn the key and GO!! Street or Track, its ready either way. I am going to have a reserve set but you are free to email me with any questions or offers. I do not have to sell the car. I am only selling to help fund another restoration project. If it sells, great, if not, no bid deal. Good luck bidding on a nice vintage muscular Buick. I may POSSIBLY be able to deliver this to the GM show at Carlisle, PA if needed on Sat the 24th or Sunday the 25th.
