Car description

This is a unique muscle car that is not your everyday Chevelle, TO, r Olds 442. You will rarely see one at your local car shows. This 1966 Buick factory Gran Sport has a 401 cubic inch Nail Head engine. Stock, his engine produced 445 lbs. of torque for lots of power at a low RPM. The car is in excellent overall condition with with no rust and all original sheet metal. All chrome and bright work is in very good condition. It has been refurbished with performance upgrades to improve drivability while staying true to the car's stock appearance. The stock PowerGlide 2 speed transmission has been replaced by a ST-400 3 speed automatic with a switch pitch converter that works perfectly. I still have the original PowerGlide which will convey with the car. Some of the many upgrades and features include a quick ratio steering box, ew coil springs and shocks, ertronix ignition, eaders from TA Performance Buick, a 3:08 ten bolt posi-traction rear, 5 inch wheels, ed line tires, nd rear anti- sway bar. While unverified by me personally, his engine was reported to have been upgraded with a Buick performance cam that raised these engines to 340HP. It has had one quality respray in it's original color of Saddle Mist Poly. The interior is in show room condition with practically flawless original upholstery and the tilt steering wheel having recently been restored to like new. The car is a virtual time capsule. It still even retains the original spare red line tire and rim in the trunk. I have receipts and documentation for many of the parts that have been replaced or restored. The only items that need attention are the air conditioning which needs recharging, nd the dash clock that is not working. In the past 5 years that I have owned the car, t has been meticulously gone over with attention to details that make this an exceptional looking, unning, nd driving muscle car. I would recommend that anyone seriously interested in purchasing the car, ome and look at it personally.
