Here is a beautiful 1973 BMW 2002 in gorgeous condition inside and out. This car is a life-long west coast car and has lived its entire life in San Francisco Bay area. The car has been very well serviced its whole life and the miles are believed to be original at just over 104,000 judging by the condition of the car. The exterior was just stripped down and given a full re-spray in the original color of Verona Red. This Roundie is ultra-rare and is rarely seen on the roads due to low import numbers, and so many lost due to accidents and rust. Don't miss your chance to own a truly spectacular 2002..

The body on the car is in very good condition and was very well maintained. These cars were notorious for rusting out due to a lack of zinc coating, but this car has always been in salt free climate so that is not an issue. The paint on the car is finished in it gorgeous original color Verona Red and was just fully wet sanded and buffed to a blinding luster. The car doesn't have a single ding or dent and only a few chips which have been touched up. The car is riding on the custom 16" alloy sport wheels and BMW center caps. They look great and have a like new set of sport radial tires mounted. All of the glass on the car is original on the car even the windshield. Stainless and chrome trim is all in place and in good condition with no pitting or damage. The front euro spec bumper has been removed for that Outlaw look but is in nice condition and will be included with the sale. The custom Xenon Demon Eye headlights add to the cool custom look and the original Glass Hella H4 units will also be included.

The interior is in great shape all around. The Recaro sport seats are all in very good condition and were just freshly installed. The carpets and headliner are all redone, and very nice with no ware or damage. All dials and controls function as they should. The heat and controls work correctly and blows warm when needed. The car has very nice Blaupunkt MP3 Bluetooth Stereo set up and sounds good. Original dash, headliner, and door panels are in great original condition. Sunroof functions well and just had new felt seals installed!

Mechanically, this 2002 runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. The car just came out of a 10 year storage and was gone through, tuned up, and new tires installed! It drives as good now as the day it rolled of the lot. The 2.0L engine is surprisingly quick and responsive. The previous owner stated the engine was fully rebuilt using Ireland Engineering forged internals which add some HP to the little 4cyl. It is reliable, easy to fix, and parts are readily available. The car was always regularly serviced by a small BMW shop near the previous owner's home. The car does not leak a drop of anything and the suspension feels super tight and responsive. Clutch and gearbox are smooth with no grinding or issues. The disc brakes stop the car extremely well and I would drive this car anywhere! The engine compartment is original quality and has all of the correct decals and accessories present.

All in all, this is one of the cleanest and nicest 2002's on the market. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owners. This BMW is a fantastic car for the price and are doing nothing but going up in value. This is your chance to get the classic BMW you have always dreamed of.   • INSPECT BRAKES FOR:

    • Worn, damaged or missing parts.
    • Worn, contaminated or defective linings or drums.
    • Leaks in system, proper fluid level.
    • Worn, contaminated or defective disc pads or discs.
      • (NOTE: A minimum of two wheels and drums must be removed from each vehicle at the time of inspection. Consult the official inspection manual for exceptions.)

  • INSPECT PARKING BRAKE FOR:

    • Broken or missing parts.
    • Proper adjustment.
    • Standard factory equipment or equivalent.

  • INSPECT HEADLIGHTS FOR:

    • Approved type, aim, and output.
    • Condition of lamp, wiring and switch.
    • Beam indicator.

  • INSPECT OTHER LIGHTS FOR:

    • Approved type, proper bulbs, condition of lenses, wiring and switch.
    • Aim of fog and driving lamps.
    • Illumination of all lamps, lens color, and condition of lens. (NOTE: Every vehicle must have a rear lamp showing a red light to the rear, a white light illuminating the rear license plate; vehicles over 7 feet wide or extending 4 inches or more beyond the front fender extremes must be equipped with approved clearance lamps and reflex reflectors. Count load in measuring.)

    • Rigidity of mounting.
    • Condition of reflecting surface.
    • View of road to rear (Truck mirrors must extend at least halfway beyond edge of body) - (Visibility 200 feet to rear).

  • INSPECT HORN FOR:

    • Electrical connections, mounting and horn button.
    • Emits sound audible for a minimum of 200 feet.

  • INSPECT WINDSHIELD AND OTHER GLASS FOR:

    • Approved type safety glass.
    • Cloudiness, distortion or other obstruction to vision.
    • Cracked, scratched or broken glass.

  • INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER/DEFROSTER FOR:

    • Operating condition.
    • Condition of blade.

  • INSPECT EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR:

    • Exhaust line-manifold, gaskets, pipes, mufflers, connections, etc.
    • Leakage of gases at any point from motor to point discharged from system.

  • INSPECT LICENSE TAGS FOR:

    • llumination of rear plate.

  • INSPECT HOOD AND AREA UNDER THE HOOD FOR:

    • Operating condition of hood latch.
    • Presence of emissions system -Evidence that any essential parts have been removed, rendered inoperative or disconnected.
    • Break fluid & Power Steering levels that are below the proper level

    • If the air bag indicator fails to light, or stays on continuously.
