This is a gorgeous 1991 BMW M5 finished in brilliant red over black leather. The iconic E34 M5 was equipped with a 3.6 liter inline 6 cylinder producing 311 HP and 266 ftlbs of torque, it is a completely different driving experience from the technology laden later cars, it is a true German muscle car that is very rewarding to drive.
The car wears its miles very well and unlikely it has spent more than a handful of days and nights outside . The paint which has been touched up in a couple of spots is mostly factory original and is deep and lustrous. The real surprise is it's beautiful black leather interior it is nicely supple and more like that of a 3 year old car, the door panels,dash and factory Alcantra headliner are also all in superb original condition.
Everything in the car works with the exception of the sunroof it vents and closes but does not retract, all other windows, gauges etc work as they should the car has no warning lights on and the pixels on the dash are perfect. The heating and A/C blows hot and cold as it should. The car has passed a stringent California smog test and can be sold in California. The car stops and drives really well and could be driven anywhere. The transmission shifts like butter and the car pulls really strongly throughout the rev range and tracks well there are no issues with the drive . Tires are deep but older and should be replaced for everyday driving .
