1988 BMW 325i Convertible-Will Sell Hard Top Separately-Local P/Up Only

Up for sale is my beautiful, red E30 convertible! It has the legendary 2.5 Liter M20 engine that has plenty of power, torque and life left in it! I have told my wife I would sell it the last 3 years but when spring rolls around, I haven’t been able to pull the trigger. I am now getting the evil eye a little too often so here we go.

It is in good condition and has had lots of maintenance performed in the last few years.Most recently, just replaced the starter, alternator, and both master and slave clutch cylinders. I have all of the maintenance records since I have had it. The car drives great! Drive it home, no matter were you live! This is one of the few unmolested, original e30 left! Clean title and NO RUST ON ANYTHING!!!!!!!! Has original spare bottle-cap wheel (never been mounted) with original Michelin western Germany tire, still in great shape. The entire underside of this car is undercoated from the factory to prevent rust, which it has done a great job of doing (that’s why the floors and frame are black under the car). The car includes lots of spare parts including a spare convertible top. My mechanic let me pull apart a junked E30 and take what I wanted. Please look at the pictures to see all of the spare parts included.

There are lots of little things broken but it runs very well! Some of the things I now are broken: AC worked VERY WELL until the button (and the recirculate button) on the dashboard will not stay engaged. There is a crack in the window, unfortunately, a crack in the dash, the paint is peeling, it leaks a little oil (like any old car), seats are cracking, radio doesn’t work, and I am sure there are a few things I am missing but again, IT RUNS GREAT and is SO FUN to drive with the top down!

The best part is the E30 Hard Top! These are EXTEMELY hard to find. The lining is coming loose on the inside but this is an easy fix. ***I will sell the hard top separately for $2,000 Local Pickup Only***

To be clear on the Hared Top/Soft Tops:

In total, there are three tops for the car:

There is the Hard Top (in the pictures) that is currently on the car.

There is a Convertible Soft Top (NOT pictured) that is on the car, just retracted so you can't see it in the pictures. That one has a few very small holes.

There is a second Convertible Soft Top (Pictured with the spare parts). That one has NO holes. I was going to replace the installed soft top when the holes got bigger but the holes never got big enough to bother me.
