Car description

For sale is my 9/86 BMW 528E with a 98% complete E28 M5 swap located in savannah ga. The 528e chassis was a clean title, running car that came from a man in SC who wasnt using it (though his business partner hoped to make it a race car was the story). The PO. repainted it white over the original Nerzbraun-Metallic and blacked out the trim. This is the donor chassis for my 1988 E28 M5 (total loss title from(Ohio?) from a front end collision in 1991.) This bent the front wheels and frame spar but the only engine related damage was the airbox in which I bought a OEM M5 part. Due to this damage and that the floor at the drivers footwell was about completely rusted out, I decided not to try to repair it. So with the new 528e chassis I swapped over everything that could be reasonably removed, complete powertrain, complete front and rear subframes, gauges, carpet, seats, door panels, dash, center console, rear view mirror with lights/wiring.
The M5 specific Items that were not feasible to swap were: battery box, headliner, and blacked out exterior trim and the rear self leveling suspension, and the exhaust from header back because it was all rusted out.
Modifications; custom exhaust from headers back with a flowmaster muffler, tucked bumpers, OEM sealed beams were replaced with halogens from a E34 for more power. H&R sport springs, E30 M3 EVO intake gear, strut bar, 1/2” wider oem wheels, (16”X8”) vs 16”X7.5”).
Interior: The a/c works as I had a custom hose made to connect the M5 compressor to the 528e and bought a new dryer with the necessary o-rings and flushed the system. The ABS system has the relay pulled at the moment because the front and rear tires (match) but slightly different sizes, which caused the dash light to stay on and confused the ABS. Dash has maybe 4 cracks, (I will have to get a pic soon) There is a plastic dash cover on it ATM. The spare tire well has a funky paint job on the inside. I had a creative moment with some spare paint.
Chassis: The hood is the actual M5 piece, and the trunk lid is a legit M535i unit. The sunroof panel may or may not be the M5. All the power windows work. All the power door locks work but 1. Sunroof, lights, wipers, horn, heat, power seats, (except headrests) work. The heated seats function but I would not use them due to the age of the leather. Power mirrors only work in some directions. Doors, hood, trunk all open/close properly. No water leaks. Only a few of the trunk carpet pieces survived. The toolkit has part of the tools. The only rust I know of is at the front M5 swaybar mount that the PO welded on. It may need repaired in a few years. The wheels are straight and have a good clear coat still on them but a few scratches. The tires have some slight cracking in sidewalls. Avon Tech, M500 treadwear 280, made 0804.
Engine/driveline; Engine starts and drives great. I do have a Dinan chip but it will drop your mpg to 13. Clutch feel is excellent. I think the only fluid leak is a very slow oil leak from the oil fill cap.
EDIT; After putting a couple hundred miles on her weekly now I have notice more cracks in the crevasses of the tread than I would like if I bought the car, the seat leather is getting a few more cracks and it appears the AC compressor has a slow leak, so I adjusted the price accordingly.
+1. I have a matching "16 rim with no tire to include with the 528e's original 15" rim with tire.
