Car description

1982 BMW 320i Street Track Car

Original 1982 BMW 320i in very solid well preserved condition (no corrosion) . This car could be used as street daily driver or used exclusively on the track or a bit of both. We did not build the car but previous owner did nice job modifying with Corbeau racing seats, roll cage, very nice quick shift 5 speed, urethane bushings, lowed coil over Bilstein shocks and Bilstein struts, big sway bars, nice Weber 36 Italian carburetor, unspecified engine modifications (runs nice), battery relocated to rear, fuel pump shutoff cutoff switch on dash, racing cutoff switch in trunk, racing gauges, GoPro mount etc.

We are happy to sell AS IS or we can quote updates to put car in condition you prefer

NOTE: We would suggest serious inquires call us 214 352 0868 to discuss vehicle / pricing !

Unique Features of this 320i

· Mostly original paint with some paint updates so car presents well. New tri colored vinyl M striping sets off car nice also could be easily removed with heat gun if prefer a stock look

· Original 5 speed with really nice short throw shiftier. Simply the nice feeling short throw 5 speed shift kit

· Original M10 engine with fuel injection removed setup with nice Weber Italian 36 carb... runs great, starts easily ! Much better setup for street or track then the original continuous injection system in 320i that is increasing impossible to service. 320i is a great car but the original CIS (continuous injection system) suffers for lack of new parts for fuel regulation and thus problematic. Weber carb runs better, provides more turning, allows additional upgrades to engine to be fed with fuel supply... much better setup on a 320i then the CIS for track and / or for street use.

· Bottom of car is nearly perfect. A Texas car with no visible corrosion. So whether racing and want structural strong car or want to build out a perfect 320i this is great candidate

· Original dash cluster is disconnected and upgrade racing gauges on dash all seem to work well

· Origial 320i wheels and tires in good shape... have Panasport style 15 inch wheels available that would work great on car for additional charge (see picture of wheels leaned up against car)

· Track performance modifications include full roll cage, Corbeau racing seats, instruments, front and rear SYT green anti-sway bars, strut tower braces front and rear, battery in rear, looks like mostly new urethane bushings and most of all coil over style Bilstein shocks and struts. Not sure if full coil overs or just an integrated spring shock product but lower car nicely and provide firm but not harsh ride

· New ANSA stainless sport exhaust nice sound

- Performance header installed on car

- Strut tower braces in front and rear

- Adjustable camber / caster plates added to front strut towers for easy alignment, suspension adjustment

- Headlights and turn signals all rewired and work correctly for legal street use. Stainless Ciba style fog lights on car but no currently wired ... easy to wire

· AC and heat HVAC systems were partly disconnected removed by previous owner. Would be simple to add back and aftermarket heat and AC system that we install in many classic BMW's (extra charge) that operate more like modern cars if you want complete daily use car

- Original speedometer odometer in car reads low miles but has been disconnected so do not know actual mileage of car ? Appears very low mileage just based on condition of chassis and body but have no way to verify actual mileage. Listed 99,999 as do not know actual mileage of car

- We believe roll cage could be easily removed if desired. It is bolted in to bottom of floor pan and appears it could be unbolted and easily removed from car. We have a back seat (in blue) for a 320i and OEM front seats in blue if new owner would like car setup as pure street look. We would trade these seats for the Corbeau seats at no charge if new owner wanted OEM street look

·We specializing in building classic cars to order. This car available AS IS, Where IS from this auction but once you secure car in auction we would be happy to make modifications to car at your request.

· Please contact us by phone or email if you would like a quote to update car (engine, AC, wheels etc.) with more optionsThis is one of those cars you can enjoy as is (nice original time capsule). Or great candidate for more aggressive styling and performance upgrades while you are using the vehicle.
