Car description

Offering for sale my near mint 1989 BMW 325ix Diamondshwartz 4 door sedan. It is the rare all wheel drive model and it has just been converted over from an automatic transmission to a manual 5 speed. This means that the drive train has just had a complete overhaul with lots of new parts. Brand new LUK clutch disc, ressure plate, nd bearings. Single mass flywheel from a low mileage 89 325is and was in great condition. New rear main seal on the motor. The transmission itself was cleaned and has all new seals as well as new redline MT90 synthetic transmission fluid. The shifter has all new wear parts too so it is nice and tight, nlike so many E30's out there. Brand new custom made real leather shift boot with M tri color stitching and a weighted shift knob. Transfer case also serviced with new seals and synthetic fluid. Front drive line splines are in great shape and have a new coat of grease. The all wheel drive works perfect and will pass the jack test for all you enthusiasts out there that know this is the only way to really test the all wheel drive system on these cars. Motor was rebuilt about 25k miles ago. Head was gone through and installed with new head gasket, iming belt, ater pump, 2 sensor and ignition parts. Runs excellent! Front drive axles have also been refurbished. Front control arms have had new ball joints pressed in and bushings installed last fall. New motor mounts. Brand new brake rotors and pads on all four corners approximately 5k miles ago. Rear shocks also replaced. New power steering hoses so the system does not leak fluid all over the garage. AC was just serviced last month with new return hose, eceiver dryer, uxiliary fan, an clutch and R12 refrigerant. The system works great and blows nice and cold. Oil just changed last month too with full synthetic 10w/40. Tires are great with about 80% tread left mounted on 15" factory ix weaves. Rims are showing their age but are still straight and true.Exterior of the car is in excellent condition barring a couple minor flaws. The car is all original paint and body panels and is 99.9% rust free. There is some clear coat coming off the fender flairs and trunk lid spoiler due to them being made of a different material than metal as they expand and contract depending on the temp. There are a few rock chips and a scratch or two in the paint as well as a door ding or two, ut nothing that is too noticeable and very consistent with a car that has been driven for 26 years with 238k documented miles. This is not a low mileage garage queen, ut this is definitely a well preserved gem of a car. Very few ix's out there with all original body panels, riginal paint, nd rust free.Interior wise the car is in decent condition. All electronics work as they should and the only thing not stock is the stereo. The dash does have some cracks in it due to the extreme temp fluctuation of our climate, ut this is pretty standard on these cars as one of those things that BMW could not make last forever. The driver seat also has a seam coming apart in the vinyl on the seat bottom. Those are really the only cosmetic issues with the interior as everything else looks great. Heated front seats!1989 was the best year to buy an E30 325ix. It has lots of little extras included with the car that were installed at the factory as standard options. Ellipsoid headlights, port steering wheel, ear trunk lid spoiler (rare to see on a 4 door sedan), lastic bumpers, pdated front metal valance with integrated ellipsoid fog lights. This car has been very well maintained and is now even more desirable due to it having a 5 speed manual transmission installed. Bid with confidence as this car drives very nice and will certainly be a great addition to any collectors or enthusiasts garage.Buyer will need to pay for the car in full by certified check or cash before car will be released and title signed over to new buyer. Winning bidder will provide a $500 non refundable deposit through PayPal once auction is won. I will cooperate with your chosen shipping company to get the vehicle on its way to you, ut you are responsible for any and all shipping expenses. I am also willing to pick the new buyer up from closest airport to facilitate and finalize the transactions needed for buyer to drive the vehicle home. Car is sold as is and where is with no warranties expressed or implied.
