1961 Maserati 3500GT Touring with 1963 151 Le Mans aluminum body 4.7 Mexico v8

Greetings!What we have for sale today is my 1962 Maserati 151 Le Mans reproduction coupe serial number 151007. With the help of a local Maserati collector we uncovered the car's original serial number 101*1402 I believe making this chassis and serial number a 1961 Maserati 3500 GT Touring. The California title clear and in my name and hand lists the car as a 1962 Maserati with a VIN of 151007. In California the currents titles do not show the model of the car only the year VIN and manufacturer. If the new owner prefers I can change the title to reflect the correct year and VIN of either the 151 or the 3500.This is a project car which I know very little about but it was on display (to be sold?) at the Amelia Island Concours and RM Auctions about 15 years or so ago.There is a French story about Norway replicas and about Drago or Drogo Korper building replicas of these cars from the original bucks three I think in 1965 or 1964. I believe this is one of the replicas.This is an aluminum body over the 3500 GT Touring chassis with a modified Jaguar center section and a CWI IRS unit tacked into place for the rear. That part was never finished as the original 15 inch Borrani cast aluminum wheels won't clear the lower bearing support. Originally to me this car had a Jag rearend with a De Dion tube which is included with the sale. The engine is a 4.7 liter DOHC with four 2-barrel Webers and the engine's serial number makes it a Mexico. The five speed transmission appears to be fully functional.If you'd like more photos just ask.Almost all parts are included to put it back together but you'll have to fab up a new driveshaft windshield wire wheels (because the Borrani's offset is a little off) pedal assembly and exhaust system; headers are included.Clear California title in my name describing a 1962 Maserati with serial number 151007.
