Car description

This is an Australian built Leyland Mini Moke. It was built for the export market with left hand steering. The speedometer is in kilometers. This is a very rare car. I have not seen many LHD Australian Mokes. I don't know it's entire history but I bought it from one of the dry Western states. I brought it to Atlanta, Georgia to have fun with my family. Our recent move and too many cars has prompted me to sell it. The Moke is now in St. Augustine, Florida.

This Moke is a unrestored survivor car. It is amazingly rust free. Bone dry. A close inspection of the undercarriage reveals some minor surface corrosion on the panels but I found absolutely NO rust thru. It has the original Squadron Blue paint. The paint has lots of patina, scratches, etc but it looks pretty cool as is. It is the California edition with the hood stickers and front and rear bumpers and roll bar.

A turn of the key and this Moke fires right up. The engine runs good. A decode of the engine numbers shows that this engine is the 998cc model. The odometer in kilometers shows 93656. That converts to a little more than 58k miles. It runs thru all the gears just fine and steers and stops ok. It has a small oil leak (typical Mini-more than a few drops but not too bad) There is also a very slow leak on the clutch slave cylinder if the car sits for a long period of time. The headlights and taillights work. There are no wipers installed-I'm not sure if they work or not. The tires have plenty of tread. I do not know how old they are. These Australian Mokes came with 13 inch wheels. It gives a bit more ground clearance for trips through the outback (or to your local beach or watering hole!) Basically, this Moke is a decent little driver. It could use a little typical tinkering for longer drives but nothing major needed. This is a great Moke to drive as is and have fun and do the occasional tinkering or as a rust free basis for a full restoration.

I have lots more pictures including detailed undercarriage pictures and a short driving video at this link....https://beautifulsurf.smugmug.com/Mini-Moke/

This vehicle has a current Georgia registration in my name. A current registration in the state of Georgia acts as a title for this year vehicle and if you live in a title stat, then you can get a title with this documentation. Also, this documentation is good for export to any country. I welcome bidders from all around the world to bid on this very cool car. I've sold plenty of cars overseas over the years and am happy to work with your shippers to assist in getting this Moke transported to port. Please feel free to answer any questions. I'm a car enthusiast and a straight shooter. If anyone is interested in making a buy it now offer, please feel free. Thanks and best of luck bidding.

In case it is not clear from the description, the Moke is located in St Augustine, Florida zip code 32080. I neglected to update my auto fill ebay location when writing this ad so it has Atlanta as the location. Ebay will not allow me to update the location once the auction has started. Thanks for understanding.
