Original 1949 Austin A90 Atlantic Convertible Vintage Movie Car Mini Aston Minor

Up for your consideration a rare and highly sought after original 1949 Austin a90 Atlantic. Made in small numbers and only a small percentage of those were imported into the states. This is an Australian delivered vehicle directly from England in 1949. The first owner lived in Adelaide South Australia and from what I understand he sold it to the second owner in Tasmania in the mid 80's. There is evidence of this vehicle being registered in Tasmania per the registration document originally sent to me by the Tasmania government. The vehicle ventured to local shows around Australia and was enjoyed as a weekend car for many years. I understand the first owner died in the mid 90's and the vehicle was then passed down to his son who enjoyed it for 20 plus years. I've owned it for a few years now and drove it straight to the ferry the day I bought it from the son without any problems. I've had it in storage for a while and have now decided to let it go to someone that will enjoy it more frequently than me. It's in beautiful original condition and still has the original trim intact that is almost impossible to acquire today and is very valuable. The interior could use a cleaning but as you can see in the pictures it's in great condition. It has approximately only 30,000 original miles. This is likely the only a90 Atlantic for sale in the states at the moment. I believe my buy it now price is very reasonable for the original condition it's in as the value will only continue to climb. I've seen these vehicles fetch double at auction with restorations full of reproduction parts.

The Austin has recently been inspected by a professional mechanic and has a standing quote for $1,500 in work to get it up and running fresh and proper as it was not long ago. The work recommended includes a Brake Flush, Fluid Kit, Oil Change, Differential Fluid Service, Drain & Fill Transmission, Clean & Rebuild Carburetor etc. Battery will need to be trickle charged overnight but shouldn't need replacing as it's just been sitting. None of this work has been performed. Im leaving this maintenance work and repairs up to the new buyer/owner. Just being transparent with the current needs of the vehicle to get back to being a daily driver. Cheers
