The undercarriage is solid and free of corrosion. The chrome is very nice throughout.  The refinished 60 spoke wire wheels are excellent and sit on Vredestein tires. The interior is in excellent overall condition.  The original switches and controls are present and functional. including the steering wheel-mounted turn signal. choke pull. and bonnet release.
The engine compartment is original and clean but not restored.  The trunk is very clean with excellent upholstery and spare tire in place.  The engine is properly tuned and starts easily. The choke works correctly and the car shifts well with the overdrive working properly.  This is a great opportunity to acquire a lovely early Healey that retains the purity of the earliest cars while providing improvements in the form of 4-speed gearbox with overdrive and larger brakes.  Don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of automotive history.   VIN: BN2L 231144 Engine Number: 1B 231144M Overview: Healey Blue with dark blue top and interior (leather seats) Numbers matching with original drive line and body panels Body number match body panels (examples: bonnet lip & trunk lid prop rod flange) Original four speed manual transmission with overdrive Original low mileage 37. 82 M100 intake and carburetors with rare valve cover No rust – very solid body and chassis Accident free Bare metal lacquer (re)paint 1981 by current owner (same owner 43 years) Chrome is very nice Top. tonneau cover and interior are in excellent condition Beautiful interior: dash. steering wheel. seats. tunnel and kick panels. carpets Includes the original Owner’s Handbook and Service Manual Moto-Lita wood steering wheel (original Bluemels banjo wheel included) Five 60 spoke wire wheels in excellent condition (original British – not repro) Includes original jack and aluminum fan blade (running a flex fan blade for better cooling; jack handle is missing) All gauges. switches and lights function as should No side curtains (this car has not seen rain in 34 years) Showing minor paint chips and a scratch on right rear quarter panel Trunk lid should be adjusted and refinished at lid prop rod (see photo) Wonderful driver ready to drive and enjoy Valid Pennsylvania title (titled in 1957) Sold as-is where-is   Please email with any questions before bidding.   Hopefully the above description in conjunction with the photographs presents a clear overview of the cars condition.   Serious bidders are invited and encouraged to view the Austin Healey 100 located at our shop in Reading.
