1968 AUSTIN-HEALEY SPRITE Mk IVPROJECT CAR. DOES NOT RUNSOLD AS-IS. WHERE ISThis 1968 Austin Healey Sprite is a great base for a project car. If you are looking to build one you will want this because of the larger 1275cc (1. 3L) engine. real windows that roll up and down. negative ground electrical (instead of positive ground). seat belts. and a removable SnugTop fiberglass hardtop that is in good condition. The car has not been plated to drive since 1983. It will roll and I have been told by the previous owner that the car was started back about 3 years ago with the assistance of starting fluid but would not stay running without starting fluid. They purchased all of the parts to rebuild both of the carburetors and they are still in a box in the trunk. The major flaws in this car are with regard to the rust on the skins of the A-Pillars. rust on the front left fender. and rust in the floorboard on the right side. It doesn't appear that the A-pillars are rusted beyond the skin. The doors seem solid and will open and close. Trunk does not have any rust through areas as far as I could tell. The shifter seems stiff but I can pop it in and out of gear so I'm guessing the packing in the shifter needs work. **Local Pickup Information** The car is located in Graham.
