This is one of those once in a lifetime garage finds that you hear or read about and wonder why you never stumble on to an opportunity like that. It is an early big Healey that has not yet been restored but is not a total basket case pulled out of a field. MostcollectibleBritish carsgenerally fall into three categories; 1) restored correctly and cost a fortune, 2) restored cheaply covering up a rusty car, or 3) a complete basket case which you should run from as fast as you can. This is a complete car, unrestored and NOT FULL OF TERMINAL RUST. It was painted once in the early 60’s. It appears the color was changed from black with red coves to the current orange/white color combination. The current owner bought the car in 1964. Yes you read that right, same owner for the last 52 years!. It started out in Arizona, was purchased by the current owner’s brother in the early 60’s and then she bought it in 1964 from him. It was driven very sparingly for a couple years until parked in a garage in 1966. It sat there until a few months ago when it was brought to Layland Motors to get road-worthy in order to sell it.

• Carbs rebuilt and new fuel pump installed
• Head removed, valves ground, one burnt valve and onepush rodreplaced. Reinstalled with new head gasket

The car runs and drives quite well. Almost all of the lights and gauges actually work after all those years in storage….amazing!

The paint is fair, the body is straight with some dents. Panel gaps are excellent. Doors/hood/trunk shut perfectly.

Floors and frame are extremely solid with only surface rust. Nothing welded or bent underneath. The pictures under the car show how valuable it is.

The interior is original in quite good condition for its age. Original top, tonneau cover and boot with all the pieces. Side curtains with cover.

We are selling this great car on behalf of its long-time current owner. There are very, very few unrestored Big Healey’s like this left. Classic British sports cars are appreciating nicely and this car is well-worth investing in.

REMEMBER!!! Only bid or make an offer if you are certain you want the car and already have the means to complete the transaction. We accept bank wire ONLY. All the cars we sell are pre-owned cars and sold AS-IS. All Sales are final, no exceptions.

Deposit of $1000 must be made within 3 business days or less. Remaining balance must be paid in full within 7 days. We will help arrange shipping or we can pick up the high bidder from any local airport.

Vehicles are sold in "AS-IS" condition.

A Pre-Purchase inspection (if desired) can be made however we must have an agreed-upon purchase price with a $1000 refundable deposit paid. We can recommend local places and provide you with options for your inspection if desired. We will also bring the car to the local inspection location free of charge. HOWEVER, All appointments must be made and payment method arranged prior to us delivering the car to the inspecting location.

All buyers must have pre-approved loans/financing or must be able to pay cash for the vehicle. Financing must be secured prior to buying the car.

All buyers must register and pay applicable taxes in their home state. We collect no fees or taxes.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.

Seller reserves the right to end the listing early. Our cars are being offered for sale outside of the eBay system. Seller reserves the right to reject any and all bids or offers at all times.
