Car description

This 1983 Lagonda is one of the rarest cars in the USA.The Aston Martin Lagonda Registry lists only 24 in the United States. It is estimated there are only 300 remaining worldwide.
Aston Martin planned the finest and fastest four door sedan in the world. Each car is handbuilt, taking 2200 man hours per car. But this exclusivity came at a high cost.
The 1983 Lagonda was the highest priced car on the exotic car market. Higher priced than Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche or Bentley. Only the Rolls Royce Mulliner Corniche came close.
The mileage is 18,778 genuine and the protection seal on the odometer set at the Aston Martin factory is intact. This Southern California Lagonda is still mostly original paint. Everything is correct as it was delivered from the factory except for the red engine cam covers and airbox. Even the tires are correct AVON Turbospeeds. All the power windows work. All the seat adjusting motors are fine. Even the digital dash is fully operational...right down to the gear indicators. All the notorious problems on poorly maintained cars are working well. In fact it is a very nice car to drive. Top speed is over 145 MPH which made it one of the worlds fastest four door cars.
If you are interested in this collectible vehicle, I am sure you already know a great deal about classic Aston Martin cars. Some models have doubled in value over the past few years. 1960's Aston Martins are now fetching well over $1,000,000. 1970's Aston Martins have doubled and tripled in value in the past 5 years. Some early 1980's AM Volantes are at the $250,000 mark now. Fine Lagondas are still increasing in value.
Last year there was a matching Lagonda for sale in Europe at 183,000 Euros ($205,000). Same year, same color inside and out but more miles. It was only on the market a few weeks. I feel our price of $138,000 is fair for a car with this low genuine mileage.
So, if you like hand beaten aluminum panels, the smell of true Connolly Leather and Wilton carpets, and the exclusivity of less than 25 of these cars in the country, give me a call atNine 4 Nine 272 Six Four Zero Four.Aston Martins have been in my family since 1976. I feel I could answer most of your questions.
