1973 AMC Javelin Runs and Drives Posi Rear Engine Tuned

A 1973 AMC Javelin V8 car in restorable condition. Originally bought to restore for myself but now my employment situation has changed so i have to sell it.Engine runs very well. Has Posi rear end - both tires peel out nicely. Brakes stop the car and transmission shifts through the gears. New: Starter, tarter solenoid, attery, ll new water hoses, acuum hoses, eater hoses, gnition capacitor module, new hardware bolts and nuts, new trans and oil dipstick etc. carburetor is rebuilt with new gaskets and power valve etc. new fluids for engine oil, ransmission fluid and differential fluid. it is HIGHLY recommended the car brakes be converted to power discs before driving on the road! i don't know what engineers installed MANUAL 4 wheel DRUM brakes on a 285hp V8 car!! but they do work currently.you can see a video of it drive. turn up the sound: videoThe body is workable. no major accidents or irreparable dents. all removable panels like doors, enders etc. are in good shape, o rust through just need sanding and repaint and some work. The unibody has MAJOR rust through in quarter panels, runk floor, river and passenger floors. I have new sheet metal skin for both sides of rear quarter panels and one floor panel included with this sale. driver side window pops out of the rail and needs a new plastic retainer and some greasing.otherwise car is original and has all original parts so you don't have to hunt for parts too much. what i noticed missing: power steering pump and brackets, ront hood trim, ll side markers, irrors and windshield wiper motor. The windshield wiper arms are not installed but i have them included with the sale.I recommend towing the car on a 4 wheel trailer because of tire rot on rear tires might not survive a long trail. usually costs $50 at U-Haul if you have a truck. The car drives so it can drive up on a trailer on it's own power. I can rent a truck and deliver the car if i get an additional $300 for delivery within 200 miles of my location but will require payment in full first.new Spectre Air filter is installed and included with the sale.
